Role of Mother in Developing Healthy Habits for Kids
Sunday, August 16, 2015
When your kid has passed through the first two delicate years, and third is on its way, on the verge of pre-schooling and schooling, it is the right time for teaching good habits to your kid. This responsibility lies to a greater extent on mothers.
Being a working woman, I try to provide as much time to my kid as possible. I see teaching healthy habits just as natural as teaching him about GOOD and BAD. An opportunity to bond non the less. Apart from numerous medical references, my personal experience dictates that kids are very quick to catch things up, if we put sincere efforts at teaching them good habits. More than anything, it creates a stronger bond of trust and obedience between kid and mother. The kid begins to trust mother and abide to her instructions. Such a beautiful act of laying foundation of a persons virtues !
This section of blog will talk to mothers and through them to the kids. I will be sharing various facts, tips and tools to equip parents (and nannys) with Healthy Habits for Kids.
